Our groups are for anyone who wants to find out why the Bible still matters today.
The Gospel of Matthew (30 weeks: September 6, 2024 - May 2, 2025)
The Book of Psalms (30 weeks: September 5, 2025 - May 1, 2026)
Registration is open for 2024-25 and 2025-26. The 2024-25 Gospel of Matthew study will end on May 2nd. The 2025-26 Book of Psalms study will begin on September 5th. We meet in-person at Good Shepherd Church of Charlotte, which includes a Spanish speaking women's core group (Ethnos). There are also dedicated online core groups available on Friday morning: Women and a core group for adults with intellectual disabilities (Agape), Tuesday evening for Women and Monday evening for Co-Ed couples.
The 5 Essential Elements of CBS are individual study (spiral bound lesson book or online), small group discussion, teaching time, and the commentary provided in your lesson book, all wrapped up in a caring community.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, craft, music, and games, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. School Age Students study age-appropriate editions of the same books the adults study. Preschool students learn three years worth of bible stories with crafts, music and games. Nursery care is provided for our youngest members. Somos ETHNOS!! Hola bienvenidos al nuestro estudio bíblico en español! Te invitamos a ver lo que sucede en la vida de las personas cuando descubren a Dios a través del estudio de Su Palabra, la Biblia. Nuestros grupos son para cualquiera que quiera averiguar por qué la Biblia sigue siendo importante hoy en día. Todos los aspectos se presentan de una manera que hace que los conceptos bíblicos sean aplicables y accesibles. Agape
The CBS “AGAPE” ministry fulfills the CBS mission by providing an in-depth Bible Study for intelluctually disabled adults in our community. AGAPE means God’s Love. And it’s for everyone! Our time together includes worship, an interactive teaching time, small group discussion and fellowship with one another. All aspects are presented in a way that makes Biblical concepts applicable and accessible. Adults with mild intellectual disability who are 18+ and able to do some reading and writing will benefit most from AGAPE. Members meet online via Zoom on Fridays.
